The Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA) is organizing a donation of nearly MMK 200 million, which will be delivered through UMFCCI to flood-affected areas in Nay Pyi Taw.

As of today, MGMA has received a total of MMK 63,564,500 in cash donations, along with clothing, medicines, and food items valued at MMK 140,135,250, amounting to over MMK 200 million in total contributions from member factories.

With these generous donations, MGMA will directly deliver urgently needed immediate assistance to flood-affected villages, including essential food and supplies such as rice, oil, salt, chili, onions, dried fish, beans, medicines, mosquito nets, blankets, pots, buckets, plates, mats, and rubber slippers, under the “Helping Hands Package Donation” program.

MGMA will lead the distribution efforts and personally deliver the aid to the affected communities. Member factories that wish to contribute further are kindly invited to continue participating in this meaningful relief effort.
